Now that we know both detergents give us similar results out of the wash, let’s talk about their impact on our planet, our daily life, and why I much prefer using Earth Breeze Eco Sheets. Overall, the Earth Breeze packaging was more user-friendly, and of course much more sustainable with no plastic waste! Also, the incredibly compact packaging saved me more space in the laundry room compared to the bulky detergent pods. I was pleasantly surprised when Earth Breeze came in a sleek packet with fully compostable packaging, and was even shipped in paper instead of the typical plastic bag like most online orders, which truly shows their commitment to being eco-friendly! Liquid laundry detergents come in bulky plastic jugs that end up in the landfill (even if you recycle them!) and laundry pods come in single-use plastic bags or plastic containers that also end up in landfills. ![]() A stark contrast to the Earth Breeze Laundry Detergent Eco Sheets, which arrived packaged in a compostable and biodegradable cardboard sleeve. ![]() Something I noticed right away about the name-brand detergent I bought was that it came in a single-use plastic bag, which was disappointing, to say the least.
